I would spend the money on some other accessory. I would want the DCT for the automatic shifting. That would be my whole purpose of having the feature.

It's a nice option. I certainly wouldn't buy one from the onset. I'd wait to see how shifting with the handlebar buttons went first. But if I felt it would be more natural to use my foot, then it could be an option.
Sure , riding in the automatic mode would predominate a lot of riding I'm sure, but when getting a groove on in some twisty roads, the ability to manually shift will have some appeal. :icon_wink:
The foot shifter is a pedal shifter, only controlled by your foot and not your finger it is all electric.
That foot shifter connects by wire to the bike.
Yes , but it's just a matter of what someone is used to. Muscle memory and all. Like I said, I wouldn't buy it right off unless it seemed shifting manually by the handlebar buttons was less intuitive. Probably would quickly adjust. It's just nice to have the option.
