The best of both worlds !!! 'welcome gang'
I traded my Yamaha XV1700 for my F6B. It was a okay "Scooter." But this F6B is the answer for what I had been wanting all along.
I always had plans to stuff a car engine into a motorcycle frame in the back of my mind. I have been riding since 1963 and rode many bikes and have owned just about every brand made. Even a Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo.
Here I am with a ready made dream come true! My bike has two more cylinders and two hundred more cubic centimeters than the wife's KIA Soul.
I am not easily impressed, but with this F6B I get a smile on my face every day I ride. The handling, performance, and beautiful lines are nothing less than perfection. I could be prejudiced, but this bike is what it is. Perfect.
Sold a 2007, Yamaha, Venture, trike w/ a Hannigan kit!
Very glad I got my Matte Silver f6b.
Traded a 2010 VFR1200, to hunched over sore neck and shoulders. Miss the shear acceleration of the VFR, love the comfort of the F6B.
1982 Suzuki GS650…first bike…learned to ride on it…put 11,000 miles on it.
2008 VStar 1100 Silverado…traded Suzuki for it…crashed it a month after buying it…took rest of 2012 and 2013 off from riding.
2004 VStar 1100 Classic…bought for $3200 in July 2014…got back into riding more than ever…
2013 F6B…purchased 10/8/15…my, have a come a long way since the Suzuki in 2010, a bike I paid $400 for.
From Rochester, NY rural-suburbs…I have never seen another F6B in this area.
I went from the VFR 1200 (Honda) because I was getting a sore neck and shoulders on longer rides (500klms or more). Loved the power of the VFR.
Me and my M109 Suzuki got taken out last year by a cager. Decided on comfort and being more visible. I loved the 9, but this 6 is everything that was said about it.
I traded a 2012 GL 1800. It had the audio/comfort package.
I had it for 3 days before I took a 700 mile ride. Went down to the Texas Hill Country and rode some amazing roads.
The F6B handled very well. The only thing I missed from the Wing I traded in was the heated seat....I got a 2015 so it had the cruise.... That was a definite plus.
I sold My 2006 Goldwing with about $4,000.00 extra's I put on my beloved Wing. After 10 years and 116,000 K's. I purchased a Suzuki C50T fully dressed. Well that lasted 3 month's, I missed the power and performance of that great 1800cc.
I am now waiting for the 2016 Pear White & Black F6b.
Extra's I will purchase are -F4 16" Tinted with vent / Utopia Drivers backrest / Drivers Floorboards heel & toe / Ergo III cruise mount / Iso - grip Set and a few more little things like Rust Free mount seat bolts.
Selling an '04 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior, so I can purchase an F6b deluxe. I owned an '01 VSTAR Classic prior to the Warrior
Replaced my Royal Star Tour Deluxe with F6B.
I'm coming from the Harley family. That's all I've had for my post military adult life. A few problems with them but never anything serious. My last one, 2011 CVO Ultra Classic was the best I ever had. Sold it in Aug/Sept. Then I saw the F6B and knew it was a bike I was going to have to have. Signed the papers a few weeks ago and am now waiting for the chemicals to wash off the roads. I'm done searching for the right pipes, performance mods, and various noises so I can really enjoy the ride. Everything about this bike just fits me, except for the stock windshield. That's been replaced by the tall Honda shield, again the perfect height. I got the pearl yellow. I don't expect to see too many of that color around.
I traded in 07 Goldwing and then I enjoyed the new F6B so much that 3 months later I sold my 1997 Valkyrie because I no longer rode it. For years I had kept both a Valkyrie and a Goldwing because neither bike was quite perfect for me. The F6B made 2 bikes unnecesary
Traded in my 2008 VTX1300R and picked up The Beast yesterday.

[QUOTE=pilotguy299;111010]Thank you! I've been waiting for a F6B in white. This one had just showed up at the dealer, and was still in the crate when I bought her.
Now I just have to figure out how to clean and maintain the matte finish properly.[/QUOTE
As for the cleaning, they told me at the honda dealership that the Honda spray can be used on it. I have actually used it all the time on my 07 venture....it always kept it looking nice and almost 9 years later the paint was like showroom condition. I plan on using it for my F6B. Ask at your honda dealership and see if you get the same answer I did....please let me know.
Still own the 2008 BMWLT and just bout the 2013F6B to add to the fun!
Got cut off last fall , left turner , broken wrist is healing up well , anyway my 2011 Yamaha Stryker was a write off . So I took the settlement money and bought my `2014 F6B . I should be on the road in a month . Can't wait ....
Northeast Indiana here just picked up my new/used 2013 f6b Saturday in Ohio has a whole 8400 miles correction almost 9000 now I'm riding it every chance I get
Northern Va. Just got off an 07 Honda ST1300A. The F6B is gonna be just as fun if not more.
It was darkside. I didn't realize how much energy I spent fighting the bike until I test rode the F6B.
SW Louisiana here. Peddling a '14 farkled-out Yamaha FJR and picking up the 6 to replace it.
I put lots of research and thought before giving her up, and I have zero regards. The superior handling in the turns is amazing for a large bike of this size. I also don't want to give up on the major amount of torque and power the VTX1800 had, but again this F6B answered in a big way for exactly what I was seeking without giving up performance! Already a 1000 miles after only having the new red F6B for 3 weeks.
Hello Everyone,
Picked up my 2015 F6B 2 weeks ago. Luvin' the ride.
Long story short...traded a 2011 Road Glide Ultra for a 2005 Gold Wing with a brand new Motor Trike Razor kit on it...no miles on the kit...56K on the trike. Had a Can Am RT Limited in the garage also that my Wife was going to take over. We were at the dealer getting a new battery for te cSpydwer...she spots the F6B. Some guy had traded a Victory Vision for the F6B...didn't like the ride...traded back. Right place ...right time with spousal agreement..Bike came home a few days later. Now she is taking the Trike...when she is not riding with me.
Owner of a 2000 hayabusa stretched lowered cams, heads pistons air shifter and more......2003 VTX 1800 big tire conversion raked front custom paint ......52 year rider out of philadelphia, pa....... just purchased a new 2013 f6b from a dealer in MD today for my 52nd birthday...... ;)
looking to do plenty of riding this spring and summer.....
Not trading in my 1999 Victory V92C. The Vic has about 120k on it without so much as a single issue. Will keep it for when I need some v-twin thunder.
Traded my 2008 Victory Vision Tour Premium with 49K miles on her for a brand new 2014 F6B Pearl Yellow we call it Big Burd. Brought it home last Saturday and am loving it. Just wish this freakin rain would go away so I can ride more.

Hi all,
I am a new F6B owner from NZ and just sold my BMW S1000RR for my new F6B. I am amazed how refined and easy to ride this new bike is. Just done a nice 500k round trip over the weekend and I now understand why people love their Goldwings.
Brand new to both Honda and this forum. I didn't get rid of my last bike, but I did add the 2016 F6B to my roster. I have a BMW K1600GTL as well. I love the way the F6B looks and rides, but wish it had Bluetooth. Well, I digress! Looking forward to many great miles on this great F6B.
Heard the F6b was made to attract the younger riders but not so in my case. Mid 50's and have been riding a 2008 Gl1800 for the last 6 years. Before that rode Harley Road Glide, Yamaha Road Star and started with the classic Yamaha Virago 1986. Primary attraction was keeping the great performance of thr Wing but skinning down the size. Always begged to be able to drop my junk in the trunk and now I have!
On Tuesday I rode my 08 wing from PCB, fl to Melborne Fl, (435 miles), did paper work and hit the road back to PCB on my F6B. Total of 935 miles. And the last half was wonder ful minus the crappy stock windshield. All good now!
Any advice on drivers backrest and rear rack would be helpful.
See you on the road,
Lisa

Welcome to the best bike out there!
You live in PCB? We were just there! I'm right up the road in Milton. And I'll be teaching the MSF course in PCB.
Recommended order of mods:
Seat / foot pegs for correct posture
Then windscreen and other doodads.
Cheers,
Steve
Hey newbie to forum here.this is good informative forum as u all know.last bike was 11 sabre, loved it wife didnt. So she we liked the f6b.Sure enjoy the power, ride and most of all how this bike handles.I bought new Jan.2015 ,it 14 leftover deluxe.Still workin on slow an no speed control ,never had bike this big.Live in west central Ohio honda area actually work at honda and yes still wish we had the bikes here.klockwerks, smuggler, rivco pegs, kaoko cruise, hambly badges and cobra pipes. Will get pics etc. Sometime soon.keep info coming an the for allowing me on.
Coming from a 2005 Honda RC51. Doing the big change. The biggest challenge is the weight of the bike and the difference in turning in a curve. I am enjoying it a lot and I can see how this bike has a big following.
Can't lie, I have tried riding it like the RC51 and it is possible - not ready to drag a knee but I definitely want to go to the Tail of the Dragon.

Well a couple years ago I built a Bagger out of a roadstar 1700 to make it my long distance touring bike. I really loved the bike, it was definitely bad ass, but the vibration was just too much for me to really enjoy doing 2500 - 3000 miles in a weeks time consistently every year. Plus I hated the really crappy turning radius. So I bought a Kawasaki Concours C14 to make it into my long distance bike and kept my roadstar for shorter trips. It was a really great bike also but even after adding pull back risers I was still looking for a bit more comfort and missed having a radio with tunes.
So, I rode a 2015 Road Glide and really liked it a lot. Still had the vtwin rumble around town but because the motor was rubber mounted it didn't vibrate much on the highway at all. I almost bought this bike, and I would have been happy on it, but I really wanted to ride a F6B before I decided on something. I waited about 6 months and finally had an opportunity to ride the F6B, well that was the hook line and sinker!!! Traded in the Concours 14 that day on the B. Drove the B an hour in the freezing cold and had the biggest smile on my face ever by the time I made it home.
After that first ride on the new B, I knew I would never take my roadstar on another trip again (which is what I built it for) so I sold it to a guy that is taking really good care of it. As much as I love my B for the long stretches and country riding I still missed that vtwin rumble around town, so I bought another roadstar 1600 a couple weeks ago just to have around town when I'm not riding the B. I've had a lot of bikes but the F6B is definitely my favorite so far. These are the bikes I've owned in the last 11 or 12 years.
