Booster plug does work. I installed one on my Rocket 3 when I first got it and it ran much smoother, better throttle response. Cost around $140, but it does was it suppose to do. I didn't know they had one for the F6B, thanks!
Interesting:

I didn't do a Boosterplug for my past Rocket 3. No half stepping. I did the Carpenter 240HP racing package instead.

What was the difference and how was it measured.
Did you put it in the suggested air box spot and how long was the install ? changed out my own filter and don't remember it as being much fun.:yikes:
If I understand the manufacturer correctly, the BoosterPlug tricks the ECM into thinking it is reading a different temperature than what the air box sensor is reading. This prevents the engine from running too lean (with some refinements, of course). Wouldn't the benefits disappear after each ECM "Adaptive Learning" reboot procedure, unless said procedures are always performed with the BoosterPlug disconnected?
Did you try this, Zteve, and if so, does your test confirm or refute my assumption? Enquiring minds want to know ...
Good point. I'm out of town for a few days and I will reboot when I get back. It shouldn't matter though as the ECM has no knowledge of the Boosterplug. It only sees the lower (we fooled that B) ambient temp and adjusts for it. I will report back after reboot. Thanks
Interesting...I also do not see any reviews for a 1800 ???
I read about this a while back and found this thread which was informative.

Very interesting. $22.00 in components for a $150.00 gizmo being marketed (as extracted from that article).
As I have remarked before... this is one bike I am not going to change anything; regarding the ECM or fuel/air ratios. It's perfect. Other bikes I have done so... but the F6B is going to stay virgin in that area.
I don't understand all the negativity. The guy put something together that actually works and he makes a little profit. Big deal. I mean we're only talking about $150 which includes shipping from Denmark FCS. To install on a $20,000 bike.
Don't sweat it as its just exchanging thoughts and opinions which is really the purpose of the forum. It wouldn't be any fun if everything presented was applauded and lauded with no counter views. Throw it out there and see what comes back and let the discussion happen. As you can see there is a healthy variety of viewpoints, bring it on, and maybe it may persuade or deter someone from the product but that is ultimately up to them after weighing the information.
Good to know – thank you for reporting back. $150 is actually not unreasonable, if it does what it says. I just ordered a BP, based on your findings (which makes you responsible for life :icon_biggrin:) I assume the richer fuel mix may negatively affect carbon emissions, but luckily, even here in California's regulatory madness, there is no smog check for motorcycles (yet).
I will confirm (or deny) the Boosterplug's claims after installing and using it for a bit.
Boosterplug is on vacation for the rest of the month of July. I remember this from when I lived in Europe: entire countries seemingly shut down for a whole month (or two if you're in Italy!)
And they aren't even capitalists!! .... The BoosterPlug is installed in less than 10 minutes
