Could crop-circles be the work of a cereal killer ?
Non factory grips, non factory fit!
Those are factory grips.
They just have grip puppy covers on them.
Gap is "normal":039:
Thank you Bob!
Have a blessed day and safe ride wherever you may travel.

Bob, that's a pretty large gap in the right picture.
The dampener and the weight end each have a half moon key to them. If they are not turned right and fitted into each other, they will stack up and you will have a large gap.
On my bike, you could slide a driver's license into the gap, but that is about it (more like your left picture).
Maybe try loosening your weight end, then turn it and see if it slides in (you too, Doug).
I have a similar gap. I also have the Grip Puppies and love th me.
98,
mine are lined up as you said yours are.
Can you guys turn the bar end weight even though the screw on the end is tightened all the way?
Mine are close. No gap whatsoever.
My left side turns,is lined up,but does not go in any further no matter what I do.
Here's pics of mine. I have Original Grip Buddies http://www.originalbeemerbuddies.com/OGB_Photos.php grip covers.
