Wing Confession
I have owned a ton of bikes over the years including a1992 Goldwing. I hated that bike. I called it a Hondapotomus . The seat was way to wide and uncomfortable and it was a fat girl. I had previously owned some Electra glides and a couple of Yamaha Venture Royals which I loved. That V 4 power and Handling was great. I sold the Wing and went back to Harley's and a Beemer also. Swore I would never buy a Wing again. Many years go bye and I see an F6B. It was lust at first sight. I bought it and when anyone asked what is that I proudly say an F6B. This thing runs and handles like a sport bike. After several months of owning and loving this bike I realize is says Goldwing right on it. What a difference 25 years make. This could be considered coming out but I guess I am a Goldwing guy.Geez, that hurt. F6Broy

I have had a 1100, a 1200, and a 1500 Wing. Mostly because I bought them cheap and made a nice profit on each. They were all very bulky feeling though. The 1'st time I rode an 1800, it was a different bike that actually handled pretty well. I knew that the F6B would be just right for me. I always have my sweet VFR800 V-Tec to fall back to if I just want to take a quick spin !

Yes! Ive owned 4 previous to this one. First two where 1500 and the last two where GL1800 put 0ver 100K on all of them before I sold or traded them for the next one. Traded a 2007 with 120 K and a 2001 Valkyrie on my 2015 F6B.

I test rode the first CB750 to hit Dallas, Tx back in the day. Then the GL1000 in red came out and I rode the first one to hit one of the Dallas dealers. Bought it and added a Windjammer and Craven bags. Loved that bike. Felt like I was on a huge electric motor. Then several 1200's, passed on the 1500, and the last one was the "re-welded" framed 2004 Wing. And now the 40th Anniv. F6B takes the cake for sure. It will be interesting what's coming from Honda soon???

I had a 2012 GW but got rid of it because of it's weight and top heaviness. The I bought a used 2006 ST1300 and used it for a lot of miles. Loved it's handling but was to tall for me and not all the comfort I wanted. My new F6B combines the best of these two bikes. I really like it.
Oh, I own a 1975 GL1000 Goldwing (#1000) with 16,000 miles on it.

I went from a Valkyrie, to an F6B, to a Goldwing. I just could't get my wife comfortable on the F6B after being used to being on my Valkyrie Interstate. If I was a solo rider I would have kept the F6B.

Goldwing
I bought a new 1980 and dressed it in Vetter. Loved it! I had a 1990 a few years ago and then a couple of cruisers. 2009 Vstar 1100 and then a 2003 vtx1800. Loved the x but I was looking for better ride for my back. This will probably be my last bike !
