Nice to see this thread pop up on my email. 146,xxx miles and counting.
Hey Steve!
I think the wheel bearings being worn out had more to do with me not being careful with the hose and occasional pressure washer. I have ridden in a whole lot of rain. I've also...
Looking back in my records I gave up on the stock headlights (before the alternator was replaced) on 9/25/15 at 36,090 miles and went to LED. One of those LED dims is still in service. The other...
DarkKnt,
Good question. My scoot is a 2013 and I bought it in April of 2014. With 140,467 on the clock here's the Repair List:
1). Alternator 8/24/16 @ 56,152 miles. It never quit, I was just...
Wow guys, you're making me blush! I did get back safely from my summer trip! I'll attempt a few pictures from my iPad soon. Cheers!
Awesome to hear that another 6 rolls over 100,000! Congratulations to you and I wish you many more miles of safe happy riding!!
Can’t wait to hear about it! I rolled 133k yesterday just before arriving in Deadhorse.
I just got back to Coldfoot Camp. I’m only about 6,000 miles into this trip. I’ll not top your 18K...
18,000 mile adventure!?!? Very cool. Searching for photos next!
Heck Yea Steve! Rolling west on on that fine looking Isleen and now over 100,000 miles!! Woohooo!
Great list Steve! I read this a lunch today and got a big laugh out of it. You do understand the relationship. ;). I think it might have something to do with that pretty gal Isleen you've been...
6344. Apologies for the poor quality photo. I'll need to re-learn how to post photos with an iPad or iPhone.
This past Friday the 19th was my 5 year anniversary with the F6BX.
I could not for the life of me think of what to get her. What DO you get for the girl who has it all? A tank of premium?...
Yea, I was being funny. Same here the X is better than new. No valve adjustments. Runs and rides out better than new. Awesome machines!
Steve, At 93K is there any sign of mechanical fatigue? Slight loss of power? Shifting getting hard? Valve adjustments more frequent?
Ha! Thanks unsub but I'm just a fortunate guy who had plenty of opportunities to get in the wind. Georgia is a great State to ride in year round.
Nice idea Steve, thanks. How many miles do you have on Isleen now? I got 93k...getting there - Steve
Hello to all from Macon Georgia! 120,560 smiles and counting on my 2013 F6B. I bought new...
I rolled 120,000 miles today and I'm every bit as pleased with this suspension and would do it again. The machine is on rails. Precision. Responds so nice and predictable. Stability at any speed....
All,
Today at 116,000 miles I had the $3,500 Traxxion treatment applied to the 2013, F6BX and and I'm excited about my new ride! I'm looking forward to a mountain trip but it will likely be...
I appreciate it! Looking forward to talking with them. So far I've found plenty of grumbling about the coin for Traxxion and no complaints about it's performance for our scoots. My best to Isleen.
Hey 53Driver, The Traxxion web site shows 2 GA installers, one in McDonough and the other in Maysville. I may be overlooking the one in Marietta, do you have contact info. for that store?
I joined the 100,000 smiles club today. 5069
