the hitch i used was pretty straight forward. i didn't use the bushtec hitch though. Mine is from add-on and it has done the job well for me. My dad has a 2014 Gl1800 and has the same hitch on his with no issues. We both pull the bunkhouse king and a cargo trailer. Cargo trailer works great for when the wife wants to go shopping and I won't to ride the motorcycle!!

sounds like the B is what i'm looking for, would be nice to have the power to pull the trailer easier, hope I like it & can swing a new bike in spring, Looks like I will have to do my homework on the hitch, US $$ exchange is brutal right now. might be limited to what is available here. Is there a hitch to stay away from? or are they all capable to tow the campers? Installation is a factor.

The hitch on my vaquero was solid & chuckster sold it for $195. Honda parts & accessories seem to be more. Everything is more but look at what you get. You get more. I really want that Honda motor. This will be my last bike, If I get taken out again by a cage I think I'm done.

I have a bushtec hitch and pull both a bushtec trailer and a
regular trailer with a 1 7/8 ball. The hitch is top notch and both trailers tow like nothing behind. The bushtec has air ride suspension so it is quieter and less noticeable to roadway imoerfections. The ball hitch trailer just pulls well with the exception to railroad crossings and poor road building imperfections, will let me know about them..
No lack of pull power or breaking ability.
