You're probably right about the looks. It's off when not used and not seen when covered up. With the holes in the rack, I might try cooking some vertical jalapeno's stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon on the Weber. This rack has some practical uses, IMO. I looked and looked for the MP3 ? rack that taxfree4 has but to no avail and didn't want the chrome bling out back so I went with Dale's.

I'm all about the BBQ potential there.....

Acorn nuts would work if you use all thread rod the correct length. Better would be to use button head bolts, much nicer sloped fit from the edges and tightened with an Allen wrench. Need to be black making them harder to find but you can paint em. I paint small areas with a black permeate marker sometimes. Easy to touch up when needed. However the color does not matter if you remove it when not in use as I would.
