    Still attending!

We are departing Central Florida this morning with the bike (Clifford) on the trailer heading north and we plan to arrive on Wednesday afternoon. The best part about the weather is that it changes, and most often for the best. I plan events for a living, many outdoor, and I want to say Thank You to everyone that has had a hand in putting this together. We look forward to meeting the group in PF! -Steve & Stephanie

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon or early evening, depending on how adventurous I am with the back roads down.

    Whatever it takes.

You get a pass on that... with your recent Bionic man knee surgery.

I'm sitting here in my hotel room watching the weather progress (from Hurricane Harvey's residual fallout/spinoff), gonna possibly be a little wet getting out of here so am getting ready to break out the wet weather contingency plan B gear.

We all know that motorcycling will sporadically involve unplanned for inclement weather. Nature of the beast.

I wonder how Ixol Phaane is doing... he's riding through all of that crap coming from Phoenix. Best wishes for him as he hopefully skirts some of it.

Hey Dave... if your reading this thread... you are going to have to take a mandatory motorcycle detour as you come down I-81, the town is Buchanan I think. Be careful of the speed limit through that town.. it's like 25mph and there's a local cop that will tail you. He did it to me.

Town must not get a lot of action.

I didn't know that was an option; have a Kendon single in the garage...

My wife does not ride, her ex-husband was killed in a motorcycle accident on her birthday. She sold her bike and will not ride as a passenger either. She said that she would like to go so we do it this way.

No need to explain, enjoy the ride! If those maps lead you astray, you can find me in Oregon! Or Iowa!

My wife rides with me, but she is driving down while I am riding. She is driving the luggage Really , we left on Saturday to come visit her family in VA. Tomorrow morning we'll be heading to Pigeon Forge. Her in the SUV and me on the bike. We both use machines at night for sleeping, and it would have been a challenge packing for two for 8-9 days. Especially when one of my saddlebags is already taken up by audio gear. Plus we don't have to be picky how we pack, just throw it in. Most of my extended riding trips are done solo, so packing for a couple weeks isn't a big deal.

This is how I like to get to Colorado. Let's face it, Texas is a big state with a lot of unappealing riding...
