    Windshield hight question

    I am about 5'7" so I would like to know what would be the best high for a windshield. I have read about some riders having issues with "see trough" windshields because if there is a splash you may end up blinded! I still have a Honda VTX 1800F 2005 (for sale by the way) and the windshield top on this bike gets just under my eyesight but I have no problem with buffeting or wind hitting my face. I want to make sure I get the right one. I just bought my F6B last week and I'm tired of the bugs! please help. thanks

    I would guess that you could get by with an 11". Cee Bailey makes 1. I am 6'1 and it worked great for me. Runnig a Klock Werks right now but I did like the other,

    Hi Perohijo;

    I am a bit taller than you. I put a Memphis Shades Hot Wing Booster on my F6B and now I can hear the radio at 65-70. Before that too much wind noise.
    The wing booster is like an extension that clamps onto the top of your windshield. It is very stable and easy to install.
    I wear a modular helmet and foam earplugs if that makes a difference at all.

    I'm your height and put the mustang seat on to lower me about one inch. The 14-inch Klock Werks windscreen works great for me. It's also a great look if you're after clean lines and simplicity.

    Make sure you get your seating situation resolved before the windscreen.

    Cheers,
