Good morning. Need some assistance. I had a 2012 Goldwing and was able to purchase a wiring harness adapter into the left fairing pocket to put a USB to my phone. Since then, I have sold that and now have a 2015 F6B. When I went to buy the same harness, a Show Chrome BB52820, the guy said it won't work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I bought the Honda F6B lead. It has always worked great and plugs right in. I tapped into this to power my USB charger from Kuryakyn.

I tapped into this so there were no cuts etc.. in the bike wiring.
I believe this is switched power with the key? Not positive!!!
I purchased this one made by Show Chrome. No splicing. It connects to the female plug that's already under the side compartment. Just drilled a 1 1/8" inch hole with hole saw. Took all of 15mins to install.Originally Posted by Doogie1959

Would you consider installing a 12v charging (barrel) port instead? Purchase a usb auto charger separately for a couple of dollars and use when needed. This setup would be far more versatile in my opinion..
I'd post pictures but, well you know, that's not a possibility these days without a work around.. oh, almost got one uploaded.
