    The price in California for annual DMV license renewal is quite expensive, and an additional $50 a year is just too annoying to get a vanity plate. I suspect the cost is less in other states.

    Cost is a extra 20 dollars a year here in Nevada.My registration was 310.00 total here with my vanity plate.Just one of a thousand reasons I moved here after retirement from my California job.
    What really amazed me is my insurance dropped 5 bucks a month from my previous bike a 05 Yamaha Silverado Roadstar.

    It's the same in Oregon - an extra $200 for 4 years.
