    DMV Fees

$15 per year for regular plates.

$110 for initial personalize plates and $10 additional each year.

    Vanity plates???

I have tried very hard to have plates that were NOT memorable. I do not set out to do foolish things; but, things sometimes happen.

I can relate to that! I had a special plate on my car and some guy approached me in the grocery store parking lot one day a few years ago. He asked if it was my car and I said, "Ya, what's up?". He says, "My wife says you tried to run her off the road the other day". I'm like, WTF? Seriously? I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and unless he wanted to fight about it then he should just go away and leave me alone. I'm still wondering WTF. I guess I changed lanes in front of some lady and she thought I had it out for her or something. I have no idea. :nutso:

    Cool

Vehicles with vanity tags as a rule do not get stolen....the PoPo can remember " HOT CHIC" but maybe not " NRS-730"...just sayin

Even though I won't have my bike for awhile I ordered my plate today from Calif DMV, it's F SIX B. Only $49 and a yearly renewal of $38. Calif let's you order vanity plates in your name and you have a year to put them on a vehicle.
