    Duluth Trading Outlet store

I finished a 10-day trip to WI and IL. Driving down from the Dells, I made sure to detour to Belleville, WI where the outlet store is located. To my surprise, I see a red F6B parked out front. I think, "Oh boy, this is going to be a fun stop."

Went in and found Don from NJ. He's a board member, but hasn't been on for at least a year. We probably talked for half an hour. Great guy.

Bought a pair of firehose for $45. I'm now a believer in these pants. All the hype is true.

I'd talk more about meeting a fellow F6Ber, but I didn't tell him I'd be posting about it, so I'll stay respectful.

The Firehose pants are good to go. $45 is a GREAT deal.
I might need to stop by there if I get up that way!!!

    Cheers,

Yep! Got me FOUR pairs as well from the Duluth store in Manassas, VA. And a new belt too.... was quite nice buying a smaller belt. A "fitting" testament to successful weight loss

They actually breath better than bluejeans.

Are they designed to be riding pants, with built in protection against abrasion and impact on the joints?

No, they are just heavy duty pants. I have 3 pair. But, they do not have any "CE" protection or pads, anywhere. They are just tuff work pants, not motorcycle specific. They have an extra piece of material in the crotch, they call a gusset, which does make the more comfortable, riding.

If you are coming through Wisconsin and Illinois, there is a brand new Duluth Trading store in Hoffman Estates (NW suburb of Chicago). This store has the distinction of being the first built to order Duluth Trading store. Other locations took over existing building (albeit with extensive renovation). The other good part about the Hoffman Estates location is that it is right down the road from a giant Cabela store.
