Be Careful What YOU Wish For
Seems as though you have interpreted the word "vehicle" to mean "car/auto! I would strongly suggest that you search and understand the meaning of "vehicle"! It includes bicycle, cart, auto, truck, van and about any other thing that transports people or things. Wow! That's rather profound! Appears we could include skateboards, SegWays,, wheel chairs, hay wagons, farm tractors etc.
What am I missing?
2012 Honda with two riders has rear tire blow-out on highway, results in crash.
Was Van Hawkins - the driver who didn't make it -- a known Darksider? Is the 2012 bike Ref wrong?
Just curious as I don't have a strong opinion on Darksider pros and cons.
I could not find the letters F6B anywhere in the report.
Riding a Goldwing is like opening a can of testosterone.
Go Green - Recycle Congress!!!!
Someone posted a picture of the rider elsewhere on the internet. He was riding a full Wing. Now, I don't know if he changed bikes, just saying the F6B thing is new to me.
2013 F6B ---Nimitz Class Battle Sofa
Found his FB page. 2012 GL1800 that he bought second hand in 2014, farkeled-out and used for distance riding etc.
No indication that he ever had anything but MC tires in photos or comments on GL forums.
RIP Van...
Probably a really good guy.
What a useless post.
A life was lost and it is a useless post...Unreal
The death of the Texan occurred in Oklahoma on I35 near Purcell, his passenger survived, the info I obtained was second hand from my cousin who was first hand, operating the tow truck that removed the damage bike - he overheard the OHP comment on the car tire while he inspecting the bike and was annotating his report.
My cousin is not a motorcyclist and assumed the big Honda was like mine, an F6B. I was actually more interested in learning which brand/type of tire failed but Cousin didn't have access to police yard after he left.
I am perfectly aware that our motorcycle tires fail also - but we never hear about the darksider failures. thus the post.
peace out. and even more importantly our condolences to this man and his family.
