    PDX - speak up!!!

To my PDX group, isolated from the rest of America by the Rockies and California.....
Would y'all make an honest effort to attend a Rally in Colorado????

Let me know by voicing your opinions in this thread please!

    Yes, I would Steve.
I have family in Grand Junction as a second reason to be there.
I might even be able to talk family into helping out.

Thanks for considerating a mid continent solution..

I'm in Wisconsin. I would definitely attend a rally in Colorado.

Barring work obligations yes. Colorado is much more achievable, there is to much to see and do between here and the East Coast for one trip. One day I'll get there on my bike...I definitely want to attend one of those R.T.E.'s I keep reading about

From Toronto Ontario cannot do Colorado,
1400 miles one way ok. not more than that.
I'll just look forward to our 2019 Rally.

It's not a done deal yet!
Besides, you need to rest up a bit!
i wouldn't want to have to ride through Chicago either....

    Great seeing you again, Mike.
    Cheers,

Thanks Steve, yes like wise for sure. It was great seeing everyone again. As long as we can get enough
people to attend, it only seems fair to move this rally further west for a change. Again, if the numbers support it.
Is it at all possible to set up something on the site that will remind members to vote when they log in. Say
for a period of three weeks or whatever. Once somethings been fairly voted on, there should be no complaints.
Of course, the last U.S. election being the exception. (not intended to ruffle feathers, just couldn't resist)

    My vote is for Colorado.

I went to a Valkyrie rally there a couple of years ago - a long haul from Toronto, but well worth it. I fell in love with the Rockies.

We stayed in Hot Sulphur Springs for a few days, and moved to Cortez for a few more.

Cortez is getting into the southern flattest and hottest part of Colorado, so I'd prefer to be
a bit farther east and/or north.

We spent nearly 2 weeks there, and didn't get to half of the places/roads we wanted to see.

    My 2 cents.

Okay, so y'all know that distance is not much an issue for me, and riding the beautiful country and roads of the Smokies and the Ozarks has been fantastic for the past three years. Phantom and 53 and everyone have done a phenomenal job putting together some great experiences and rides, but... I certainly would enjoy taking in the sights and the routes in Colorado and the Rockies. I've never spent any time running that area, so I'd jump at that!

Colorado gets my #1 vote for the 2018 rally.

Wherever we end up, I look forward to seeing all the old faces and also faces of folks who haven't been able to join us, yet.

    Ride safe.
