    I would vote for Durango. Out of the city limits is The Lodge at Tamarron and in town is Handlebar Motorsports Honda dealer. The riding in that area is as good as it gets going north and west from Durango. Cortez is just west of Durango and probably not as crowded.

    Distilleries

    I was just looking, there are 4 distilleries in the Durango area.

    MontRose has been a favorite for several Rockies Gold events from the GL riders forum. So many great rides from there and good motels. I try and make it an annual ride out to there. Will be there in two weeks, staying at the Red Arrow which has hosted the group for several years.
    Some of the best riding in the country in the Rockies and in some of the red rock canyons of Colorado. I can assist with planning and provide additional info if wanted. Just let me know.

    How 'bout a "X"?====
    A line from NE to SW another line from NW to SE = somewhere in a 100 -200 mile radius.
    Too crazy??

    No offense to anyone that lives within 200 miles of there, but it has all of the appeal to me of driving up and down my driveway....

    Loveland Colorado would be a good base. A couple Honda dealerships close, tons of great rides, hundreds of awesome places to eat.

    I cast another vote for Durango. I was just there last week and it is a motorcyclists paradise. Great town and a lot of great day rides out of there

    Durango would be an excellent choice. I've also heard from other clubs it is a good location. If not in 18 then 19.

    Red River NM. on the Co. border good riding in both NM. and Co. Not as tourist filled as Durango.
