    Thanks Bunny!

    Looking for some constructive ideas!

    Some criteria to consider:
    - Keep it in the 48 states - not messing with passports and immigration
    - Easy, clean, affordable accommodations
    - Good riding in the immediate, accessible area
    - A nearby Honda dealership or good metric outfit to take care of any problems is a great bonus
    - Not going to schedule the same week as WingDing, Bike Week or Biketoberfest, or Thunder on the Beach

    Cheers,
    Steve

    2018 Rally Location

New England is a great idea, you may end up with a larger crowd if you move the rally a bit to the left on the map.
Still like the SE Ohio area.
I left Detroit Saturday morning, there's a ton of excellent roads(many freshly blacktopped) I've been riding on my way down to Pigeon Forge.
Coshocton, Zanesville, Wheeling, Pittsburgh, the area is filled with lots of twisties that can be run so much faster that route 129 in Deals Gap.

But then, any road that isn't in Lower Michigan is a good road.

I mentioned Central Kentucky last year. Some great roads. The Bourbon Trail etc.. WV is also nice.

I agree! Old Frankfort Pike is one of my favorite rides ever.

Yeah, the roads leading to the distilleries are awesome and the distilleries themselves are beautiful. Totally worth riding/seeing

    Bourbon trail sounds great!
60+ bikes coupled with bourbon shots....hmmm.
We'll have to "plan our drinking" AND "drink our plan."
    We got this.

    Cool.

    Any more ideas???

"Moving left on the map" - I'm interested!

    Cheers,
    Steve

And after all that bourbon we could go to the Knob Creek Gun Club.

They have tours that involve a bus if you really want to partake. You don't have to drink shots at these places.. There are tours at each of the various distilleries and interesting historical elements along with some great roads.

+1 exactly why I am staying away. The Bourbon trail does sound great, for 2018
