    riders out west

    Hi,

I don't know the numbers and am too lazy to look, but there seem to be quite a few owners in the western half of the country. So I respectfully request that the powers in charge consider a destination that is not as far away as Kentucky of Tennessee, and consider perhaps something in the middle or even closer to the west coast like SLC or Colorado.

    Thanks,
    Pete

    Durango.

Southwest corner of the state. Mesa Verde, Million Dollar Highway, Silverton narrow gauge train, Casinos in near by towns, white water rafting, fishing, camping, sailplane rides. Many hotels, restaurants and brew pubs. Local dealership. And great rides no matter which direction you head out of town.

    Just a thought.

Durango is a great place to base out of. I enjoyed riding the train to Silverton - but it's been 30+ years. Long ride fore you east coast guys but it's sweet.

Across the Mississippi once (barely), all in states that touch each other.

    Time to head West.

I guess Arkansas is considered 'out west' to some...

I would not have a problem with "out west" somewhere at this point... cause hurricane fallout doesn't occur out there...

I'd take two weeks off and do a little touring while getting there.

Gonna be a wee bit wet at the start of this current 2017 rally... bring some rain gear for a bit.

    How about PNW?

Washington or Oregon would be nice.
