    Cup Holder

Ok I have my new GPS and I really think it would go best on the cross bar of my Helibars. My phone is goes into a cradle on the left side of the handlebars. Problem is the inexpensive cup holder that had worked great has been on my cross bar. Thinking of putting a cup holder on the right side mounted to the brake reservoir mount. The one I have been using on the crossbar fits my 30 oz stainless insulated cup with the holder great. Don't know how well it would work up on the right side. Debating getting one of those swivel cup holders with the RAM mount that mounts to the brake reservoir. Not sure if it would hold the cup and I have heard that those can be problematic with tipping over.

So looking for some input or experiences.

I have been anguishing for a cup/coffee/beer holder ever since I’ve owned this bike. NOTHING out there being offered meets my requirements. Either it’s just cheap assed Chinese plastics or a mount/holder that does not present well with the aesthics of the F6B.

I’ve ordered quite a few solutions from the ‘net and eventually ripped them off of my bike and thrown them away in utter disgust.

Maybe I’ll just go to PVC and some 100mph duct tape. And finish it with Plastic-Dip spray.

    Fuck yea...

My inexpensive Willy's cup holder on the cross bar of the Helibars has really worked great. But now that is where I want to put the GPS. Have you tried the RAM mount swivel cup holder?

    Jimmytee,

I am looking for a solution whereas I can reach down with my right hand and pull up my drink (cruise control engaged during the long stretches). I don't want a cup holder in front of me...

The right rear saddlebag protection bar (forward portion) is the perfect mounting point.. but I am going to have to rig up something on my own. Nothing on the market that satisfies me at this point...

    this is my solution

i never much cared for the cup holder on the handlebars

bought the cup holder at wally world in the bicycle dept for aboot 8 bucks, and the hardware was aboot a buck and a half

i dremeled the angle on the nylon spacer, and plan to cover it with some black shrink tubing

of course it was easier with the air wings already in place
    What? Coffee ISN'T free?

Tried quite a few different mounts for the GPS, ended up with the Zumo mount from HeliBars, ended up being the best location for me.

I have that bracket on my left side. That is what my phone mount is attached to.
