Actually, when you call Corbin, they will build the seat to your specifications---higher, lower-back-forward, etc... if you know the direction you want to go. They will also do a different color and stitch pattern at no additional cost. I did not know that until recently when I had a seat custom built for my Valkyrie.

lower, wider & much harder. If you like a hard saddle get a corbin.
Can you remove the side covers without removing the Corbin seat?
Thanks for the feed back (re side cover removal). Corbin make great products I will check them out.
Corbin (in my opinion) is like riding on a 2x8 board. Very hard, if you like hard, go Corbin. I'll never buy another one.
Ultimate is good, Russell Day Long is the best (in my opinion) most comfortable & the best money you'll spend on any upgrade.
I have had a Corbin saddle on my last two bikes. "Wouldn't leave home without it!" It does definitely have a significant break-in period. It was explained to me as breaking in a horse saddle. The longer you set in it the more "Broke-in" it becomes and fit to your butt. That is what I have experienced it both my saddles.
