I would spend the money on some other accessory. I would want the DCT for the automatic shifting. That would be my whole purpose of having the feature.

It's a nice option. I certainly wouldn't buy one from the onset. I'd wait to see how shifting with the handlebar buttons went first. But if I felt it would be more natural to use my foot, then it could be an option.
Sure , riding in the automatic mode would predominate a lot of riding I'm sure, but when getting a groove on in some twisty roads, the ability to manually shift will have some appeal.

The foot shifter is a pedal shifter, only controlled by your foot and not your finger it is all electric.
That foot shifter connects by wire to the bike.
Yes , but it's just a matter of what someone is used to. Muscle memory and all. Like I said, I wouldn't buy it right off unless it seemed shifting manually by the handlebar buttons was less intuitive. Probably would quickly adjust. It's just nice to have the option.Originally Posted by yellow rex
