    Painted rear license plate area

I talked with the dealer today about painting the license plate area and he told me they usually don't because they have a problem with the paint sticking to it properly. Any of you have that area painted? Have you had any issues? Your fast reply would be greatly appreciated!

Forum member GiddyupF6B had all of the black plastic parts painted on his bike: http://hondaf6b.com/showthread.php?1...easer-quot-pic

Paint adhesion will have to do with whatever prep is neccesary for the plastic. Maybe your dealer does not know how. Body shops paint all the plastic fenders on cars nowadays and the paint doesn't peel off. I would check with a different paint shop.
