    Keep the lights on

I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps and now I am trying to keep the lights on and make cold water for a large internet search engine....

8 years active duty Marine Corp, 14 years Air Force Reserve now retired. My passion in life for the last 27 years as a Memphis Police Officer. I'll give it up and retire in 3 more years.
Avatar is a photograph I took July 4th 2009 of a flag and cannon located on Freeman's Farm at Saratoga National Park in Stillwater, New York. A location of a Revolutionary battle field and an American victory over the British in the Autumn of 1777. Let us give thanks to all Veterans past and present for their sacrifice.

Retired for the final time, I escaped the rat race with my sanity and health intact:

27 years Marine Corps (19 in the reserves), Helicopter maintenance.
10 years Occupational Safetynazi for the Navy (like OSHA) & MSF Instructor.
6.5 years Community College Auto Tech Professor.
Automotive Corporate Technical Specialist (Mazda, Chevrolet).
    Please don't spook the road-sheep.

Currently I'm a piano tech and have a Laser Engraving business.

After acquiring the F6, I may have to just become a full time rider

Nuclear engineer and nuclear plant training director. Now working on a new small modular reactor project that hopes to "reinvigorate the use of low carbon ultra safe nuclear power". Yea, well see.

Hope to retire later this year. Then my dream is to take the 6 and do the grand tour of the western US. I lived in Idaho as a baby nuke in my 20s and loved it out there. Been in east TN for the last 23 years and only recently discovered motorcycles and that I live in one of the greatest riding areas in the country. The Dragon is my typical day trip! Too many HDs, though. The 6 lets me maintain my individuality and have a great engineering product at the same time.

Does anyone else feel like we are on a Star Wars speeder at times? Even the sound of the 6 sounds like the sound efx from a sci-fi movie.
