Had some Kuryaken LED accessories installed as well as some LED light strips to the radiator areas and underneath the rear bags. Went ahead and put in some LED headlights while I was at it too!

Added Fender Extender from Big Bike Parts.

Pros: Inexpensive, discreet and well made, with metal reinforcement stringers that connect the extender to the fork for strength.

Cons: Sorry excuse of an installation manual, with illegible graphics. You need to drill 3 holes into the OEM fender, from the inside, where no drill will fit (except maybe a low-profile, right-angle Makita). I ended up drilling my pilot holes by hand with a T-handle chuck.

90+ minute install for me, which means 60 minutes or less for a coordinated person.

Fenda Extenda is a most effective addition. I did not mount mine with screws and/or bolts though. I took the rear fender off, cleaned it up and applied epoxy to the Fenda Extenda and the inside of the rear fender, then used clamps to secure it while the epoxy cured.

At any rate... You will like it!

Out of curiosity: What is the benefit to adding a fenda-extenda to the rear fender?
    Riding the upward spiral.

Keeps the front of the engine cleaner. Definitely a noticeable improvement.

I think he is referring to the rear part of the front fender as it is two pieces and easy to remove. I did the same mod and it does keep the engine a lot cleaner.

Put some Bump in the Trunk!

Well, I replaced my very old Shoei helmets with some new Kabuto modular helmets. The new helmets are great. Very quiet. But, they do not fit in the trunk!

So, I made a different use of the trunk. I put in an 8" speaker. Now I have front, mid and rear speakers. The rear sub is driven off of the same amp running the mid speakers.

Now if I fade to the front only, the DXI651s speakers sound like an old transistor radio on their own. The mid and rear speaker do not sound right on their own, either (too much bass). But with all of them on, it sounds great!

This won't compete with Jimmy T's, but it is real good. Now I need a plan for spring when the trunk comes off. Gonna miss that bass!
