    They look nice.
The jury's out on functionality until Mrs. Bigbird tries them in 6 weeks, maybe sooner.

Replaced air filter with K&N yesterday, replaced spark plugs with Iridiums today. It's running really smooth. Can't wait to see if the morning stumble is gone.

    Don't count on it.

I think the only way to get rid of the stumble is through electronics; either a Guhl ECM reflash, or a small adjustable device made by EC than richens the fuel mixture by adjusting the intake air temperature sensor into fooling the ECM that the ambient temp is colder than it actually is.

I have read here that the Guhl reflash is successful, but I have read no reports on the success of the IAT sensor trickery.

They sounded much better than stock.

    Only 60 more days, hopefully.
    Hey Bigbird,

I just ordered the J&M's myself but no instructions or parts? Can you direct me to a video of how to do this exchange please? Did you upgrade wiring and screws as well. Thanks.

    My J & M's came with instructions.
If yours didn't, you need to remove the meter panel. I've put a link to a video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpOlz1epTbA

Start the video at 6:10, that's where the meter panel is removed.
Then just remove the 4 screws from each speaker, remove the speaker wires noting which wire is + and -, then install the J & M's exactly the same way, using your original screws. Very simple actually.

Installed an LED lamp right next to the switch for my fog lights to indicate when the fog lights are on.
Then I started stripping parts to get the right top shelter cover off. I need to access the VSS to install my Speedohealer.
It got just too damn cold on the fingers after 1 hour in the garage so I'll continue tomorrow.
