    Onboard helmet storage

Thought that it would be helpful for F6B drivers who are looking to purchase a new helmet to know which brands and models/sizes of full face and 3/4 helmets will fit into the onboard saddle bags.

I have a HJC CL-17 full face medium that just fits with a little shove when closing the left side bag.

My saddlebags are full of other things:

Right: rain gear and cold weather gear
    Left: tools, hiking guides, binoculars

My helmet hangs - with a provided wire cord - to the helmet lock.

Schuberth Concept, Schuberth C3 Pro, and the AFX FX140 do not fit in the saddlebag.
So far, can't find the part number for the XL saddlebags!

I also have used the provided wire and helmet lock but there are times when it is nice to be able to store the helmet out of the elements or if riding in a state where you are not required to wear a helmet but want to bring it along.

I know that when I was in the market for a new full face helmet I would have appreciated a list of helmets that would work in the bag instead of hoping it would work.

    Thanks,
    X

Yes, it appears that Shoei has four shell sizes in the RF1200 line and the medium and smaller will fit but the large is a larger shell and won't fit. I almost bought a Shoei RF1200 as it is an outstanding helmet.

The HJC CL-17 uses only three shell sizes and the medium and large share the same shell so anyone contemplating buying one of these will probably be fine with a large.

I am guessing that any full face in medium or smaller will probably fit so the large and larger are where there is a question and where it would be nice to hear from others on their onboard helmet storage experience.

I have a XL Scuberth C3 Pro that stows nicely in the left saddlebag. The first time I needed to find the sweet spot that allows the lid to close.
