So I've got me the new bike and first things first, the hook up of the GPS.
I want to hear it through the standard F6B system as my phone calls also come through it in and out and seem to think it also has a couple of 1000 songs in it.
Once up and running I can also tap into it for my UHF Radio ?
Power supply hookup will also help
Many thanks in advance
And please keep it simple as I do know how light switches work but that's about it
Terry, I hooked my Zumo 660 to the left side of my handlebar. The Zumo comes with a motorcycle mount kit and charging base to hook up to the battery. So I didn't have to run the power line under the tank, I ran the line under the accessory box and tapped into the 12V line. If you use this method, try to obtain a splitter so you can disconnect it if you need to.
Thanks mate, Perfect.
It will be mounted on a Dash with the UHF, Spot and Tire Pressure thingy and the chocolate. It will run through the Autocom.
Thanks heaps
You can also tap the power on the power outlet wire under the left glovebox and use the audio plug in the glovebox to get the audio into the bike audio system.
I use the Garmin 665. The motorcycle base I use has a output cable that I plug in to to the AUX cable under the glove box. I then can select AUX to listen to directions or music.
I'm running an Autocom so my GPS and UHF will run through that. Autocom supply a Goldwing interface, part number 2275 so you can hear the Goldwing/F6B radio through the Autocm.
