For the PILOTS amongst us ….

This is not motorcycle related and will eventually make it to the "off topic" section.

My childhood dream was to be a airline pilot, I have several hours under my belt with a Piper Cherokee but never could afford to train for the big leagues.

The latest Boeing 787-900 is a beauty, check out the rate and angle of climb from take-off (of course with no passengers) ….

Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

That's a sweet bird. I'm no pilot but I've always liked planes. B29 Super Fortress was my favorite as a kid. Then I got to ride on a couple C5's. Awesome. If you watch the video you will notice one round window behind the cockpit windows. That's the only window we had, and the troop seats face backwards. Smoothest plane I've ever been on. I rode on these to and from Saudi Arabia for Desert Shield/Storm.

    Thanks

Thanks for putting those videos on !!
Made me want to get checkout out again. I flew for a couple of years and never realized you needed MONEY to stay in the game. Don't fly now, but I wouldn't take for the experience.
Owned a Piper Tomahawk and flew Cessna 152 and 172. Good memories, but now I just fly the F6B.

Very cool video.I love aviation but was never built size wise for small aircraft and the ones I could comfortably fit in were way out of my pay grade. So I do the next best thing and fly large scale RC aircraft. It is my other passion besides the F6B.001 (2).jpgMy current Extra 300.90" wing with a 60cc Desert Aircraft engine.
