    Yep, that is the way and the GO CRUISE also works just fine with the ISO clam shell grips, the ones that fit over the OEM heated grips.

    I own both versions. The first plastic model had no way of setting tension so I tightened it with the aid of a small zip tie. I just couldn't be the only kid on the block without the new version so I purchased the second one. I like the ability to fine tune the tension with the small wheel. Use it all the time and it works well. I use grip puppies so I trimmed them to fit against the Go Cruise so no need for O rings.
