What if you have a Madstad?
Steve and I both have the Madstad. I think it makes the whole package look better too, because it fills in the gap between inner shield and dash. This on top of it being very effective. Also, if you position it in a "top down" position, in other words push down the top, it expands the view considerably

65 mph,no hands and no music, with on coming traffic. Are you freaking nuts? Turn on some music.

    Glad you like it!

Agree about no more over the shoulder looks being necessary... I love that! It takes a little adjustment though in how you use your mirrors; for me, it's become a two step process because you can't tell if someone is approaching at a high speed. I first check the OEM mirror to make sure no one is coming up fast behind me, then check the Riderscan for the blindspot.

Here's a close up on a Madstad; the arms have pretty good adjustability (my bike is FILTHY in this pic).

Also works well on a Clearview shield

George, did you ever find out anything about why your base shield is different from everyone elses?

No I haven't yet... still waiting to get my bike back.

Thanks for reminding me though; I should be able to ride up to Madstad sometime next week.
