    Oh boy! That looks like too much fun! If I had your piloting background, I would be looking at doing something like that too. As it is, I think I'll stick to R/C since when I crash one, at least I'm not on board .

    If that had been me I would have that pic blown up and mounted in my shop as well as my den

    All left to add is the TX (video transmitter) and camera which I should receive in the next couple of days. The FPV goggles are back-ordered so I'm not sure when that will arrive. In the meantime, I'm just flying line-of-sight. It's a blast flying these things and I can fly right in my back yard, no runway needed .

    I have been flying RC for 40 years mostly large scale aerobatic planes and latly EDF jets.Above video is my buds new Glider with a FPV platform aboard.This was the first test flight as we were making sure the headset was working OK.As you move your head the onboard camera moves with head movement and indside headset is a heads up display with horizon,airspeed,altimeter,rate of climb and battery,amp usage.I'm the big guy in the brown shirt as test pilot and later tried the headset out.Works very well and in the future will try out true FPV flight.Had to stop after one flight that day as we had major vibration from the engine pod.
