After thee e-mail sent over a month I got a response today from Jekill & Hyde Exhaust.
Dear Larry,
Many thanks for your email and your interest in our products.
My colleague Stefano Bertani is responsible for our US activities and can give you all the requested info.
As he is in the US at the moment, I’m not sure if he can check his email every day, but I’m sure he will contact you on a short notice.

Kind regards,
Mit freundlichem Gruß,
Met vriendelijke groet,

I have sent a second in a month e-mail to Stefane Bertani in NY and await a reply.

To the question "about the need for 2 maps, one for each loud and quiet modes. Anyone know if the designers of the "Jekyll & Hyde" exhaust has addressed this issue and if so, how?" I believe it is done with a "Smartbox" or sometimes called a "Black box" depending what page on their web site you are on.

"The advantages of the Smartbox: Faster installation on the motorcycle Only one mode switch to control the complete system LED light to indicate the actual driving mode. Future proof because of the Bluetooth options in the Smartbox system.
Automatic mode: stand open mode (which is an approved legal European mode) Can read Canbus signals of the motorcycle - See more at: http://www.jekillandhyde.com/en_glob....uMPF7mUC.dpuf

"The Blackbox is programmed to automatically regulate our Exhaust Systems to comply with legislation according to EC 97/24.You may acquire an optional sound switch that is included in the EC type approval which allows the system to be used in the regulated mode as well as in a closed mode.
The exhaust systems already includes a Mode Switch for Blackbox, which gives the rider the option to ride with the system in automatic mode as well as in closed mode."

I will relay updates as they become available.
