Hey guys...thanks for all the responses. Turns out it is NOT a deluxe...just a blue 2015. No heated grips...center stand but does have a passenger backrest. I'm still thinking about it but not as good a deal as I thought.

I agree---and don't forget about the fixed fairing and superb wind protection with just a few tweaks.
I like the looks of the Valkyrie much better, but I am not sure if I want to deal with no wind protection, storage or radio when on long rides--- "Long Rides" being defined as an hour or more at a time.
Guess I am getting soft in my old age.

I think good price.I know I overpaid when I bought mine after Sen what these some of these riders bought theirs for.I can say u will truly enjoy this motorcycle.I rode thru the winter with the klockwerks an heated grips .I rode crotch rockets in my younger days an this f6b handles remarkably .The storage is adequate for me an my wife an comfortable..good luck whichever u do slim
Thanks guys I am really bummed it wasn't a Deluxe. Now I'm back trying to decide between a new 2014 Valk for around 10.5 and a new 2015 Deluxe for 17. Thoughts appreciated.
From a comfort standpoint, I think the F6B is a better investment. Like others said, wind protection and storage go a long way in comfort and convenience. The Valk won't have cruise control, heated grips, or sound. The F6B will offer more comfort for a passenger if that's a consideration for you.
You can always add some storage to the Valk. Corbin makes some hard bags for the Valk but they'll set you back close to $2,000. I'm sure there are less expensive options. Add a windshield and that's probably another $300. Adding a passenger backrest will set you back some more.
The Valk is a sexy bike, no doubt. It boils down to what YOU want in a bike. There's no right or wrong answer. It's your personal preference.
Good luck!
The Valk is a good looking bike, but not really set up for anything but riding alone and without stuff. nowhere to store a second helmet, or a 6 pack. The windscreen is too small, and the rear lighting is pretty small.
Get the F6B-D. I got a 2016 F6B-D for less than MSRP, but still kind of overpaid.
I am thrilled about my purchase and would do it again.
I think its a good price. He's not giving it away but if its nice and like was said above if it has any add ons , even just a windshield , its more than fair. I like the Valkyrie but no bags and no shield is roughing it.
I'm with Duke VA. Its not long till the 17s are out. Offer them $16,500.
