First Ride with Michigan Riders Group

This was the first of I hope many Michigan Riders Group rides. We had 6 bikes show up (4 f6b's ) we met up in Standish and rode around 200 miles before everyone headed home. I put about 300 miles in on my new bike which was a good break in ride for me. The weather was nice and cool with just enough sunshine. I had a great time.

    Seems to me

Seems to me if I remember right that when we owed our older Valkyrie we would go further than
that for a a bag of chips.
But it must have been great to get out with a few like minded brothers.

True but most folks had to ride well over 100 miles just to get to Standish...I had the shortest day ride with just over 300 miles...I imagine a couple of riders rode over 500 miles today. By the way...good hearing from you again shortleg, I hope your medical problems have cleared up.

Yup! it was a good ride, myself out of Cadillac did 378 miles by the time I returned. This of course was a first! The first time 4 F6B's were rolling together in the state of Michigan, it was a historic event. Was glad to be a part of it. But we will see you there on the next run for sure.

Yes all is almost back to normal, up from 117 to fighting weight of 143.
Looking forward to the ride to the rally in Arkansas in a week or so.
Glad to see our brothers still in the wind.
    Party on Garth!!!

There are quite a few of us VRCC on here. Still have my Valk. Will be riding it this weekend in Rainman's Dragon Round Up, before coming home and swithing to the F6B to head out to Russelville. Just had the F6B on SmokingJoe's "Meet in the Middle Ride" over Labor Day weekend. Missed it last year because the Rally was the same weekend.
