Man, oh man. That seat is the best money Ive spent since I got the B.
Rode 300 miles yesterday out through Tecopa, Shoshone, Badwater and Death Valley on up to Beatty and then back down P-Town. First time I ever rode my B without having to stop after 50 miles and unfold myself and stretch.
The velour kept my skin from sweating and melting into the seat surface and that backrest really took care of my back issues.
I used to make fun of people with driver backrests, but I don't think I want to ever ride without one ever again. Installed the shield as well and made several high speed legs and then stops for changing shield height and angle until I settled on the final position. High kudos for both Russell and Madstad.
I know exactly what you mean I did an 806 mile day, on my RDL, when I left the rally and could have done more had they not shut down I-40 East and I-64 East completely. If you want more lower back support just flip the seat around and the pad will cover the whole area.
