    Which passenger backrest?

Hi all, I'm looking to put a passenger backrest on my '13 F6B but the OEM one doesn't appeal to me. It looks small compared to other backrests - more like something that prevents the passenger from sliding off the bike vs. something to comfortably lean back on. Any thoughts on an alternative to OEM? Thanks and as always appreciate any input.

One of our esteemed members - Steve 0080 - designed and had made an extender for that passenger "butt chock" as we call it.
Many members have used and enjoyed it.
Not too expensive, very effective, and it's not permanent in case you want to return to original configuration.

Check with him to see if there are still any out there.
    Cheers,
    Steve

Thanks for the lead Steve, raising it up a bit may do the trick.

Here is a few picks of the OEM backrest with the extension installed that I bought from steve080. Hope this helps in your decision. BTW, my wife's said it improved the backrest 10 fold.

    Reversed extension

The extension makes all the difference in the world. I reversed the extension so the mounting bolts are forward. It moves the backrest back about a inch and positions it for a more straight up seating position. My wife says it is much more comfortable this way for her.
