    Hartco seat installation

Anyone know the secret to mounting this seat. So far it's been a bastard. 3 hours and the only way I can get the bolts to line up is not use the factory bushings or grommets. My girl friend isn't fat enough to compress the thing enough to line up even one bolt. If I gotta go through this shit every time the seat comes off I'm going to light it on fire.

Ok, I'm just an impatient grumpy old bastard. Walked away for an hour and a half, went back to it and it went on slicker than snot. It does take a little finesse but once you hold your mouth right it goes on lovely. Can't wait to ride this sucker tomorrow.

That's exactly what one must do at times... when you're at a impasse with something, just walk away for a bit and then take it back on.

I also have a hartco seat. And yes you need the rubber set garments from your stock seat. I never installed the back metal bar, don't need itAttachment 24699Attachment 24700
