    Can't Resist Showing Another One

Just had to show another one from the past that lays heavy on my heart. I owned 3 of them, but I won't bore you with the details on the 3. 2005 Kawasaki Voyager 1300. Loved this motorcycle even though on a long trips (days) it could give me the monkey butt. Had all the bells and whistles with DFI. It would run a hole in the wind !! Yep, top heavy, but twice around the block and no problem for me.Attachment 24856

My Uncle had one of those (CX500 actually), I remember riding it for the first time... sitting at an intersection and revving it, just to feel the front-to-back-mounted crankshaft torque the bike from side to side.

The 2005 Vulcan 2000 limited was my second bike. Bought it from a guy in Maynard, IA. I absolutely loved riding that beast. Had an air filter cover with 125 CI inscribed on it. Most people did a double take when they read it. I'm always looking at what's available in the V2K market. I would love to see Kawasaki bring it back with a fairing, trunk and bags and all the electronic goodies.

OMG - Glad to see that someone else had one. I wanted one when they first came out in 04 but my history with V Twins (old Harleys) said NO (two breakdowns over 1000 miles from home).
Bought mine years later with 8K on the speedo. I can still remember the first time I sat on it (stretch out and big). The motorcycle was rock solid in every way. 125 Cubic Inch ! Wife and I rode it for 3 years and that says something for us.
Got to stop (fix'in to cloud up).

Had one that looked like this. Loved that bike. I was a youngster and had tons of fun on it.

The second new bike I ever owned. I don't remember the year, probably 1990. Mine looked exactly like the one in the picture. I used it as a daily driver and loved it! I wasn't yet ready for cross country rides, but that bike would have been fun. It was a very refined bike for its time.

Yep--- 2 cylinder 650 with kick start--and electric if I remember correctly. It was 1980 something. I came within a hair of buying one---I remember it was a gold color. The price tag at an independant dealer was within $200 of having the engine of my 250 Yamaha rebuilt. The wife made me rebuild the engine. (then I sold the bike for less than it cost to rebuild the engine--a short version of the story of my motorcycle life)
