Cool make sure you do it in the warm time of year. Last year in late September it rained the whole time..very cold so many started and quit pretty quickly.
Is this being run this year?

I was looking at those also....

But I was thinking of breaking my a$$ in gently, working my way up to the 2500 from the 500

The local BMW Ducati dealer runs an Ironbutt 1000 in late June.

    Good luck with the Cannonball!

Did the 1000 last Sept too, luckily we managed to stay dry.
These are in June, looking forward to seeing parts of Canada I've not seen yet.

Honestly, I've seen plenty of BC, I'd prefer to go for a loop around the east coast like that some day...But 2500 miles in 4 days means you don't get to stop & take in much of it.

June is much better time to do it for sure but I agree on the time factor..it's full out from start to finish just to make your timings. Good luck.
If you guys ever up this way give me a shout lots of nice riding around here. Ride safe and enjoy
