New on this thread and impressed with your knowledge. I’m 6’4” with 35” inseam. Planning long ride next month and I’m looking for recommendations on what you think is the best seat for comfort including backrest.

Go have your stock seat custom fitted to your specs. Had mine done last year and fits me perfect.
Russell Day Long...…………… best money you'll ever spend on your butt
Same here, I rode 9 hours, 7 in pouring rain on my Suzuki V-Strom. Leesburg, Fl. to Big Pine Key, Fl. (single lane & secondary roads) Never a ache or pain that day or the next.
My B makes my 3rd one, great seats.
My Ultimate is all day comfortable. You would probably want to go with the king. Their customer service and quality is top notch.

The Ultimate is a fine seat and very comfortable, I have one on a VTX and tried one on the B. The sales people are top notch also and easy to work with and will accept a return if you are not satisfied so you are only out the shipping. It is however off the shelve and provides minimum additional room for long legs. The RDL is custom made to fit "YOU" and cost a good bit more as well as using your seat pan. I'm up 2 1/4 inches and back about two and now have lots of knee room. Last Sunday did a 15 hour day.
My bike had a Ultimate when I brought it...………… Great seat. Best seat I've owned next to my RDL's.
I agree with the Ultimate saddle / rider backrest. Had one on my 2001 GWing and now on my 2015 F6B.
Really nice and comfy. Give them a call ... customer service is excellent as is the workmanship. The best!
