Been here for @ 22 years and this is our first mandatory evacuation. Spotted fires still going on around the area.

Been there (in Colorado) — done that! Hope it avoids you. Sounds like disastrous fires down your way and up north. We have to deal with them here in Colorado pretty regularly also. Living in the forests is beautiful, except when the fires are raging.
Be safe and wish you the best.

Good luck and hope it misses. I lived in Temecula Ca for 40 years. One fire and one flood evacuation.
Being that I'm on the Central Coast of Calif. I'm getting it from both ends, the smoke has been drifting in from the north and south and my sunsets over the ocean have been spectacular.
Now if more of them tree hugging, socialist liberals would move out of state, maybe we could maintain proper land management with control burns and other forest fire preventive measures that seem to beyond the abilities of the people in charge.

If we just spend enough BILLION$ of taxpayer $$$$ on a Glow-Bull-Warmins Satellite, I am confident the liberal-super-majority can legislate away ALL FUTURE FORREST AND BRUSH FIRES by making them illegal !!!
So Spectrum Cable offers bundled ISP, Television and Telephone with absolutely NO NETWORK REDUNDANCY. When their cable service drops in the middle of an emergency, they simultaneously cut all 3 emergency information channels.
Do I hear a class action lawsuit brewing ?
