Insurance - Never heard of this before

I just received my insurance renewal for three motorcycles for a total premium of $381.10. The F6B with full coverage and a 2005 Rune and 1997 Valkyrie with liability only. I just sold the Rune and the Valkyrie so I called and dropped the coverage, and the lady tells me my premium is going up to $440.44. I said excuse me . . . my premium is going up? She says yes, because of the loss of a multi-vehicle discount. I told her that made no sense at all . . . but she said that was the way it is. So, the more bikes I insure the cheaper my total premium, yes. So, if I insure ten motorcycles it will almost be free!

Insurance companies, lawyers, bankers, and the White House are the biggest liars, and rip-off con artists in the USA...Damned if you do and damned if you don't......A necessary "evil" in todays world I suppose.....

Multi vehicle discount is true for pretty much all companies, also true for your auto insurance by the way.

I would also suspect that the F6B is a more expensive bike to insure than the others and you have now shifted all of your usage to it. In the insurance companies eyes you went from riding it 1 out of 3 times to riding it every time.

Yes, it happens. A friend of mine added a older bike and his total premium went down. Does not seem to work for me. My premiums only go up.

Same deal for me. I had a '98 Valkyrie and an '08 V-Strom insured with Flo's group for $284 per yr. full coverage. I traded both of them in on the F6B and my premium went to $662. It was because of the multi unit discount. I switched companies and now have more coverage than before for $480.

    f6b insurance

Has a Goldwing and a Kawaski Vulcan insures with "FLO".
got rid of both bikes for the f6b changes my cae insurance and bike insurance to GEICO (in 15 minutes)
My total insurance bill dropped about $400 year.
F6B is about $290 year for full coverage

    Solution:

Pick 10 of us and pay for our insurance? Problem solved!
