Looking for exactly how you did it. I have found a mounting bracket at twistedthrottle.com. looks like it would simply bolt (with some doing) on it?

It would be great as a detachable?

I think it is a great idea for those that want a tour pack option for longer trips. However, I will just put Pete's rack on mine and throw a bag on it for the trips.

Very practical for long hauls, let us know about the bracket..

I think it looks really good. The only thing I would add would be a line of LED's all along the bottom of the case.
