    2nd Mustang Tripper Deluxe Question

Answers to my first query brings this one up:

I had trouble with a touring seat on my Harley when it rubbed against the tops of the side covers. It rubbed the clear coat off leaving the top edges dull.

Same effect with this seat or does it just overhang without rubbing?

Thanks again in advance to all responders.

I doubt anyone has had the Mustang seat long enough to be able to determine if it's rubbing or not.

I was thinking that it will probably rub off the finish over time..The fit as we know is very tight and lends itself to this issue..As said above I doubt anyone has noticed it, or had the seat on long enough at this point to tell...I was going to try and stuff a couple felt pads, the kind that go on chair leg bottoms, under the seat edge but have not done so yet...Hope it doesn't , but time will tell I suppose......

I removed my Mustang seat last weekend in preperation to change my air filter. There were a couple of rub marks on covers under the seat on each side of the bike. Not a deal breaker for me since I truely love this comfortable seat. The marks appeared that they could be buffed out if I chose to do it.
