In my experience I've never had to look through the Madstad. Properly adjusted you shouldn't have to.

Just installed the Madstad 11" last night and took it up to the Blue Ridge Parkway this morning between the Meadows of Dan, Va and Lowgap, NC for a test.
This windshield does everything it is advertised to do. It is just so smooth even at high speed that you forget how fast you are going. Fantastic equipment!
Glad I bought it and I'll have a 13" Opaque Cee Bailey's windshield for sale shortly.

Before the breathing air is gone, before the sun is just a bright star in the night sky.
No question. This is one piece of kit that works as advertised. And by the way, I think the dark tint looks good on this bike.

Anyone know why Madstad quit selling the brackets that have many more adjustments than the ones being furnished now? Those of us that bought early have a lot more adjustment options than the newer ones.
Don't know, but assume most folks didn't use all the holes, plus, some of those holes simply wouldn't work on our bikes, and,,,,, less punching/reduced cost to manufacture,,,
Ancient Chinese secret.
Maybe had something to do with the whistling some people were reporting.
