    Memorial Day 2015

I would have been at the 148th Memorial Day Parade from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, which I haven't missed for the last 25 years, unfortunately I had a rear wheel blowout yesterday while on the Parkway with my F6B. After fishtailing for what seemed IIke forever I reduced speed and was able to exit the Parkway and SLOWLY, at 10 MPH drove 7 miles to the dealer, which was closed yesterday and today. Anyway, I am the caretaker of the local veteran's memorial so I attach these photos to honor all who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

And again Tony did the crypto-reverso thing so the pictures don't show up straight.

Glad to hear you are okay after the blowout and will be able to continue to care for the memorial.

As I told my wife, who told me to sell the bike, my death won't be as quick and painless as a blowout on the parkway. Anyway, 53 to shake the Gipper's hand must have been something that very few people can boast about. Here is a pic of my priest who did just that and always cherished that moment and told us about it with the utmost reverance.

Thanks Tax, for your work at the Memorial! Glad you are okay, too. Any Ideas on the cause of the blow-out? Oem tires?
