It was a year or so back, but I believe it was about $20 on ebay, pulled from the visor of a BMW. The under the buttons you see is a sheet of rubber which conforms to the button spacing, with little extensions to reach the actual board underneath. Once locked into place, there is really no chance of a water leak. Works great so far.
I use the Flash to Pass ran off the high beams.
+1 on the Flash2Pass for motorcycles. It is hidden and you can't loose or misplace it. Also don't need to take your hands off the handlebars to operate it.

What I did was this: I purchased a garage door opener FOB off ebay. It is small about two inches long and 3/4 inch wide. After I programed it and made sure it worked I put it on my key ring for my bike. I then took a piece of one inch shrink tube, cut it to overlap each end about 1/4 inch and then used my heat gun to shrink it. I "crimped" the ends with pliers while it was still hot. When it cooled I trimmed the ends with scissors. Perfect waterproof solution.
I have my garage door opener Velcro mounted wit it in the lower left corner.
I did not want to block the power port.

I've been wanting to put something in that empty slot, and now I know what I want!
How did you do that, did you disassemble a remote, solder a switch into it, then hide the remote in there or what??
I'm doing this! So any heads up before I start will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance, Ed
(btw, couldn't you find that switch in chrome?)

No chrome but it does have a pretty green light !!! Open the remote, solder a jumper wire between the contacts that activate the opener..2 feet of wire and then wire that into a momentary switch... pretty easy...there is a diagram on another post...sorry to busy to look for it...but will try later !
