I believe a lot of things were 'created/accepted/acknowledged' due to the attention WBC brought to certain issues. As a whole, I don't think the 'direction' folks took on many of those issues turned out quite like Mr Phelps had envisioned. Actually, quite the opposite, in part due to a disdain for WBC's message and/or/methods. A bit of 'irony', once you think about it.

When it is OK to protest someone’s funeral then we have gone to far with people’s “rights”….. As I see it what people do in their home with above age partners is their business…when “ they” try force their ideals on others is where the problems begins. This guy and like people have taken their “rights” to far and should have been arrested for protesting someone’s funeral. Difficult topic to broach w/o offending someone…..
