    Headlight Low Beam Wiring

I have an issue with my low beam.
    It is permanently off.

I have done some fault finding on all the usual

    Starter - correctly switching relay
Relay - 12v switching and available at output
    Fuse - checked as good

12v measured at fuse (both sides)
12v measured at relay solenoid (12v one side, 0v other)
12v measured at relay switch (12v both sides when solenoid active, 12v one side 0v other when solenoid off)
Measured continuity from bulb return to chassis = 0 ohms
Measured 0v at bulb black/white wire

So my conclusion is a wiring issue from relay to bulbs....

Is there any other connector/component between the relay and bulbs?
Does anyone know how the loom is routed?

If anyone as a wiring schematic, that would also help

Oh, and yes I have checked the bulbs :-)

Yes, per the schematic, there is a connector between the relay and the bulbs.
I have no idea where it is.
    It's labeled "20P Gr2"
Has the White/Black and Green wires going in one side and coming out the other.

    Hope this helps.

    This gives me hope, thanks.
Logic would tell me the connector would be between the fairing and bike frame,

Just need to work out the best way of checking

Guess my next purchase is the service manual

On the full blown goldwing, the connector is in the left side fairing (top shelter removed). Our connector setup is different, but probably in the same location.

You are looking for a 2-pin connector, with the W/B & G wires.

    Good luck!

Edit - Extra info: I tapped into the high beam wiring when I added some spot lights. I never removed more than the left cubby and the radio control panel. I would guess that you can get to the connector that you need with those two items removed.

    Got it sorted

    Thank for the info guys.
Found the connector, it was behind the left pocket, in front of the hi beam light.

There are 3 connectors (multiple input and outputs on all).
Found the middle one has the low beam wiring.

The pin had some light corrosion stopping 12v from the circuit.
Cleaned her up and bingo....I have lights again

Good job, Bosch and the F6B forum. Transcontinental motorcycle electrical problem diagnosis is a beautiful thing.

    Good job! (thumbs up!)

That is an unusually early failure. How many miles on your bike?

    13K Miles on the bike.
The PO had heated grips fitted, but nit too well.

Many connectors not secured, I suspect there put stress on the connector.

Tidied everything up and took the chance to fit Aux power and Sena Freewire.
